Why do I need down rods for my ceiling fans?
If you have ceiling heights that are more than 9 feet tall (2.7432m), a down rod is a must! Down rods are attached to the ceiling fan and lower it to a more effective height. If a down rod is not used, the ceiling fan cannot perform to its maximum potential. Our collection of down rods are available in 900mm and 1800mm lengths and the length can be adjusted by the electrician who is repairing or installing your ceiling fans.
